The Role:

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust at Worcestershire Royal Hospital is seeking a passionate Band 6 Radiographer to bring their expertise to its well established and supportive multi-disciplinary team. Working on a long-term contract, you’ll thrive on finding strategies to meet a range of patient specific needs and goals, whilst providing exceptional care that supports our mature patients on their journey to greater independence.

What you can add:

  • Manage a workload of patients undergoing radiotherapy ensuring the safe and competent use of radiation and the highest standard of patient care, ensuring all efficiency targets are met.
  • Provide advice regarding management of a range of complex radiotherapy related situations.
  • Report incidents and faults to appropriate staff immediately. To ensure all machine faults are logged appropriately.
  • Deputise for the Band 7 staff as required.
  • Work in all areas of the department to maintain all round clinical knowledge and awareness.

What you’ll need:

  • HCPC Registration
  • Develop own skills and knowledge and participate in the education and training of

others as appropriate.

  • Comply with mandatory training and continuing professional development
  • requirements. Experience on working in NHS OB departments
