About the Role:As an RSHE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and values to navigate relationships, health, and well-being challenges. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate RSHE lessons tailored to the needs of students aged 11-16 with SEND/SEMH challenges.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment where sensitive topics can be discussed openly and respectfully.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking, emotional resilience, and a better understanding of their own well-being.
  • Foster personal growth, confidence, and positive attitudes toward health, relationships, and self-care.

Job Requirements for this RSHE Teacher role in Worcester:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH needs
  • A strong understanding of the RSHE curriculum and the ability to adapt it to individual student needs
  • A positive and empathetic approach to teaching sensitive subjects
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to provide two years of employer references
