Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor with a proven track record in delivering complex and high-value projects within the water industry. With a reputation for quality, innovation and safety, they work on projects across the Midlands region and offer a strong pipeline of work as well as excellent opportunities for career progression. Due to continued success and significant growth, they are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be based out of their Worcester office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting
  • Ensuring accurate cash flow reporting takes place
  • Carrying out cost management, including forecasting
  • Updating the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans
  • Ensuring effective communication between the commercial and operational site teams
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with clients.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience in the civil engineering industry (ideally in the water sector)
  • Working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 forms of contract
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
