We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will help improve the quality of life for our service users by providing person-centered care in a respectful and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care to service users, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring dignity and privacy at all times.

  • Support with Daily Living: Assist with mobility, eating, drinking, and other daily activities, encouraging independence where possible.

  • Healthcare Support: Monitor and report changes in health, providing basic support such as administering medication and assisting with medical devices as per care plans.

  • Communication: Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and the healthcare team, offering emotional and practical support.

  • Care Plans: Assist in developing and reviewing care plans to ensure that each individual's needs are being met.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily reports and medication logs, in line with policies and regulations.

  • Teamwork: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and doctors, to ensure the well-being of service users.

  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control procedures, and relevant legislation to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both service users and staff.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Experience in a healthcare or social care setting is desirable, but not essential.

  • Compassionate and Caring Nature: A genuine desire to help others and make a positive difference in their lives.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with service users and the healthcare team.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not required).
