My client based in Worcester is on the search for a 1st Line Support Analyst, providing high-quality technical support to businesses across a variety of sectors. They are now looking for a proactive 1st Line Support Analyst with at least 1 year of experience to join their team and provide essential frontline technical support to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing technical support via phone, email, and remote tools.* Log and manage support tickets, escalating more complex issues to 2nd and 3rd line support teams when necessary.* Provide basic support for Microsoft products such as Windows OS, Office 365, and Exchange.* Perform routine system maintenance and software installations for client systems.* Assist in the setup and configuration of new user accounts, hardware, and software.* Maintain communication with clients, keeping them updated on the status of their requests and ensuring a positive support experience.* Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
Experience:
* At least 1 year of experience in a 1st line support or IT helpdesk role.* Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and general IT troubleshooting.* Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.* Understanding of basic networking principles such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
