My client situated on the Worcester Six Business Park is looking for a Stock Controller for their exciting new project.

Job Title: Stock Controller

Location: Worcester, Worcester Six Business Park

Shift: Mon-Fri 6-3.30

Salary: £29,718

Job Type: Full Time.

Play an important part in our journeyI am looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join the team at our new Worcester depot. In this role, you will help to continuously improve our stock control procedures, manage inventory accuracy and assist the warehouse team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). If you're a methodical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, I'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities: Stock Controller

  • Manage and update stock location data in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies during cycle counts, ensuring the integrity of the stock data.
  • Address and resolve stock-related queries efficiently to maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Perform regular cycle count checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all control measures are in place to identify and correct mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies in stock.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to help achieve KPIs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the WMS, ensuring it is up to date.
  • Utilize your attention to detail to help improve both the accuracy and speed of warehouse processes.
  • Provide support and training to the team, ensuring correct procedures are followed at all times.
  • Be proactive in identifying and implementing improvements to stock control procedures.

Ideal Candidate: Stock Controller

  • Methodical thinker with the ability to approach problems logically.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to balance speed and quality.
  • Proactive in assisting the team to achieve its goals and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience with PC and excellent Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Experience with MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) is a plus, but full training will be provided.
