An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Head of Private Client – Wills, Trusts & Probate Solicitor in Worcestershire, offering a salary between £50,000 and £60,000 depending on experience, plus profit sharing.
The role requires a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with extensive private client experience, particularly in trusts, and a proven track record in team management and business development.
The successful candidate will lead and expand the department, overseeing client service, team management, and regulatory compliance while mentoring younger team members.
Flexible working arrangements include remote work with some onsite training and meetings, along with a comprehensive holiday package, private healthcare, and a company pension scheme.
Candidates should ideally have completed or be working towards a STEP diploma and possess strong communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.

Main duties and responsibilities:

As Head of Private Client, you will lead and expand the department, covering Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration, Court of Protection, Deputyship management, IHT and Asset Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Compensation Trusts.
You will oversee client service, team management, business development, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will be key in shaping the department's future, driving growth, innovation, and exceptional client service.
Mentor and train younger members of the team.

What we need from you:

Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in Private Client law
Proven in team management and leadership, with strong skills in business development, communication, problem-solving, and client relationships.
Completed or working towards a STEP diploma.
Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office
Driven and professional, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
