My Worcester based client are looking for someone to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis as a legal assistant to their Risk Management team. This position is ideal for someone with strong administration experience who has a keen eye for detail paired with a proactive approach. 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Undertake routine administrative tasks such as distributing post and managing spreadsheets.
  • Work on policy documents, including Complaints Handling Procedures.
  • Manage diaries by inputting key dates, sending deadline reminders, and coordinating schedules.
  • Maintain communication with regulatory bodies as required.
  • Draft, format, and proofread letters, documents, and forms.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and provide comprehensive support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the archiving process and liaise with the operations team.
  • Handle telephone calls, including interactions with individuals wishing to raise complaints.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and Teams.
  • A helpful nature and a desire to work collaboratively.
  • Experience within a legal or professional services environment is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role is desirable but not essential.
