My Worcester based client are looking for someone to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis as a legal assistant to their Risk Management team. This position is ideal for someone with strong administration experience who has a keen eye for detail paired with a proactive approach.Â
Day-to-day of the role:
- Undertake routine administrative tasks such as distributing post and managing spreadsheets.
- Work on policy documents, including Complaints Handling Procedures.
- Manage diaries by inputting key dates, sending deadline reminders, and coordinating schedules.
- Maintain communication with regulatory bodies as required.
- Draft, format, and proofread letters, documents, and forms.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and provide comprehensive support to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the archiving process and liaise with the operations team.
- Handle telephone calls, including interactions with individuals wishing to raise complaints.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and Teams.
- A helpful nature and a desire to work collaboratively.
- Experience within a legal or professional services environment is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role is desirable but not essential.
