- Responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of the firms CLC authorisation.
- Update where necessary all internal compliance policies and the overall Compliance Plan, incorporating any changes into the firm’s procedures as well as being responsible for effectively disseminating such procedures on a firm-wide basis.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders, ensuring the firm's reputation for excellence and personalised service is upheld.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Play a key role in the strategic growth of the department, contributing to business development and networking activities.
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Paralegals and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and delivering exceptional client service.
- Must be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive or licenced conveyancer of at least 4 years PQE.
- Must have had at least two years in a compliance role working in a legal practice.
- Overseeing and ensuring compliance of firms regulatory requirements to ensure firms ongoing SRA authorisation.
