Our client already has an established client base of £800,000 of client fee earning potential in the first year, with referral business from a well-established Specialist Law Firm in wills, trusts and conveyancing.We are seeking a Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 4 years PQE. Ideally experience in a compliance related capacity within a legal practice.Job Details and Benefits:

  • Monday – Friday, flexible hours

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of the firms CLC authorisation.
  • Update where necessary all internal compliance policies and the overall Compliance Plan, incorporating any changes into the firm’s procedures as well as being responsible for effectively disseminating such procedures on a firm-wide basis.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders, ensuring the firm's reputation for excellence and personalised service is upheld.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Play a key role in the strategic growth of the department, contributing to business development and networking activities.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Paralegals and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
What we need from you:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Must be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive or licenced conveyancer of at least 4 years PQE.
  • Must have had at least two years in a compliance role working in a legal practice.
  • Overseeing and ensuring compliance of firms regulatory requirements to ensure firms ongoing SRA authorisation.
