Our client in Worcester is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!

Benefits:

  • Salary - Up to £25,000 per annum.
  • Located in Birmingham City Centre.
  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 09:00am to 17:00pm (1 hour lunch break).
  • 33 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holiday).

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support in Family Law matters, including Divorce, Financial Remedies, Child Arrangements, and Pre/Post Nuptial Agreements.
  • Deliver efficient, cost-effective legal support to clients, team members, and directors.
  • Manage and maintain accurate case records on the firm's system (ALB), tracking key dates and tasks.
  • Participate in firm-provided training, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Handle client communications sensitively, especially with vulnerable clients, and actively participate in business development and marketing efforts.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Family Law with strong general knowledge in this area.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management, and case management systems, especially ALB.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to address sensitive client issues.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards, including GDPR and Data Protection Act requirements.
  • Experience in Public Law and Care Work is advantageous.
