What is the role?
As Supply Chain Planner you will oversee a very small team (as this business are still growing), ensuring that demand, inventory and supply chain planning is accurate, monitored and maintained correctly day in day out, week on week.
Alongside this you will produce production and procurement plans, working closely with the commercial team, customers and suppliers to ensure things are running smoothly. Following that you will obviously ensure hauliers and 3PL providers are managed accordingly.
What do you need:
- Previous experience within a Supply Chain Planner position
- Knowledge and understanding of this role within Food, Fresh Produce or something with short leadtimes/shelflife
- A true passion for what you do
- Understanding of forecasting & inventory management systems would be great. Handling and experience with 3PL, e-comm and multidrop logistics would be great.
