Are you an ambitious and skilled engineer with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Join our team as a Maintenance Engineer and play a vital role in maintaining and improving a variety of advanced equipment, from robotics to CNC machines and more!

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

We’re looking for proactive and organised individuals with a strong mechanical and electrical background to help maintain our diverse range of machinery and systems. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing expertise in one key area of equipment (e.g., diecasting machines, presses, robotics, CNC, and assembly equipment) while remaining proficient in multiple others such as lubrication systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipework, and more.
  • Taking ownership of problem-solving and root cause analysis to ensure smooth operations.
  • Effectively prioritising and managing your workload to meet operational demands.
  • Upholding high standards of safety, ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
  • Operating equipment such as FLTs, cranes, slings, MEWPs, and lock-off systems when needed.
  • Ensuring quality and administrative procedures are followed with precision and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a maintenance role with a strong foundation in electro-mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine maintenance.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage workloads effectively, and exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices related to machinery and operations.
  • Advantageous: Experience with management systems like Pirana will be a plus!

Maintenance Engineer Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent qualification, backed by a recognised apprenticeship.
  • In-depth understanding of Health & Safety within a maintenance environment.

Maintenance Engineer Shifts:

  • 37.5 hours per week on a rotational double-day shift pattern:
    • AM: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
