Sonic Summary
- A client near Worcester is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for a Temp to Perm or Permanent position with Monday to Friday hours from 0600 to 1500.
- Key responsibilities include investigating equipment failures, performing pre-planned maintenance, ensuring health and safety compliance, and executing necessary modifications.
- Candidates should have previous experience in a similar role with a Mechanical or Electrical bias and possess relevant NVQ qualifications.
- Experience in processing plants and working with conveyor systems is advantageous, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- The salary offered for this position is up to £32,000, depending on relevant experience.
The hours required are Monday-Friday 0600-1500
The main responsibilities for the role include
- Investigate equipment failures and correct in a timely manner
- Carry our pre-planned maintenance to reduce down-time
- Ensure H & S is maintained at all times
- Carry our modifications as required
- Any other relevant tasks deemed necessary by your supervisor
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- previous experience in a similar role with either Mechanical or Electrical bias
- Relevant NVQ qualifications or similar would be required
- Previous experience of Processing Plants and working with conveyor systems would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent Problem Solve
The salary on offer is up to £32,000 dependent on relevant and suitable experience.
