Location:Worcester
Salary:50,000/year
Shift Pattern:3-shift rotating pattern (AM, PM, Nights), Monday to Friday
Overtime available at a premium rate
Straight permanent position

We are looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineers to join our client in the Worcester area. The role involves working on a weekly rotating 3-shift pattern, covering 24-hour production. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to their work and be committed to driving continuous improvement in the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting preventative maintenance on production machinery.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Initiating and driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Supporting improvement actions and working collaboratively within the team.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production/factory environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing and maintaining centrifugal and lobe pumps.
  • Competency in electrical systems; experience in hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 3-shift rotating pattern.
  • Experience working in a food factory is highly desirable.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of improvement initiatives.
