I have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer Surveyor in Worcester to join my client's team, a leading independent surveying company expanding rapidly across the UK. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a hands-on engineering career, providing critical inspection services in diverse environments, while developing new skills and gaining professional certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, examinations, and surveys on a wide range of engineering equipment, including cranes, lifting systems, and pressurised systems, at customer sites.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in various equipment, ensuring it’s safe for continued use.
  • Provide detailed written reports following each inspection to support engineering projects.
  • Offer remote support to customers and engineers as needed.
  • Embrace continuous learning and improvement in your field.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.
  • A strong background in mechanical engineering, ideally with some experience in cranes, lifting systems, or pressure plant equipment (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH knowledge beneficial).
  • Comfortable with UK travel, staying away from home once or twice per month.
  • A full UK driving licence and strong communication skills, as this is a customer-facing role.
  • The ability to work independently and stay organised, ensuring timely completion of all inspections and reports.
