QTS MUSIC TEACHER - SECONDARY SCHOOL South Worcestershire - Full-Time Role

Job Description:

SMART EDUCATION is seeking a qualified Music Teacher (QTS required) to teach in a secondary school in South Worcestershire. This is a full-time position, with the potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant school community committed to enhancing students' academic, social, and emotional development through creativity in learning. You will be responsible for teaching Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, following the National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Music lessons that inspire students
  • Support students’ musical development and overall academic attainment
  • Participate in CPD sessions, attend meetings, and contribute to the department's objectives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school's music program and community outreach

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • At least 6+ months' experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 music, with a proven track record of raising student attainment
  • Ability to engage and inspire students through creative lesson planning
