The opportunity SourceCo Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a nationwide distribution company based in Worcester who are currently looking for a Transport Office Clerk to join their team.

Hours of work Monday - Friday 22:30pm-06:30am

Pay - £11.44ph

Start date - Immediate starts available
Location Worcester, WR3
Job type - Temporary ongoing vacancy that may lead to a permanent role for the successful candidate.

What does the Transport Office Clerk role involve?

  • Print and prepare route paperwork, including delivery schedules, manifests, and shipping labels, for drivers.
  • Organize and distribute administrative documents to ensure smooth transportation operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment details, invoices, and delivery receipts in both physical and digital formats.
  • Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to confirm delivery routes and schedules.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on delivery statuses.
  • Monitor and restock office supplies, including printing materials and shipping forms.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations in all documentation.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting transportation metrics to improve operational efficiency.

Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Previous experience as a Transport Co-Ordinator is beneficial.
