Hunter Gatherer are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Locum Clinical Pharmacist to join a renowned NHS hospital in Worcestershire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards.
- Conduct medication reviews, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Offer expert advice on pharmaceutical care and clinical management to healthcare professionals.
- Assist in the delivery of training and education related to medicines management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous clinical ward experience is essential for this role.
- GPhC registration as a qualified pharmacist.
- Experience in inpatient pharmacy services within a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
Desirable:
- Experience working within an NHS setting.
- Postgraduate qualifications or further clinical training in pharmacy.
Hourly Rates:
The role offers competitive hourly rates between £28 to £32 per hour, depending on experience. This is an ongoing locum position, with the potential for extension based on performance and hospital needs.
