Position Overview: Symbiotics Ltd is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing new clients in line with Symbiotics' sales strategy, focusing on consultative solution selling to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve or exceed annual sales targets.
- Identify and approach potential clients within the aviation industry, utilizing existing networks and conducting market research.
- Understand client needs and effectively communicate how Symbiotics' products and services can meet those needs.
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract signing.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and psychology professionals, to support business development activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Represent Symbiotics at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required.
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in IT, including MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Demonstrated ability in consultative selling and understanding client needs.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in international sales and business development.
- Familiarity with recruitment processes and selection assessments is advantageous.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM is desirable.
