About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's finance team for an initial 6 month contract. If you have experience with accounting software and enjoy working on varied tasks within an office environment, this role could be perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Credit control
- Processing invoices
- Performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with month-end reports
- Reconciling bank statements and financial data
- Supporting the development of accounting systems
- Assisting in the internal review of transactions
- Participating in ad hoc projects
- Providing administrative support to the finance team
Experience and Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role within abusy accounts team
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient in using Excel
Monday to Friday/ fully office based
