Join Our Client's Team as a Finance Assistant!

Are you ready to embark on an exciting, new career journey? Our client is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team in Worcester! This is a permanent position where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of crucial tasks that contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain accurate records of all purchases, ensuring timely processing and payment.
  • Operating Lease Ownership: Take charge of operating lease management, including compliance with IFRS 16 reporting requirements.
  • VAT Management: Assist in VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Fixed Assets Oversight: Manage fixed asset registers and ensure accurate recording and reporting.
  • Accruals and Prepayments: Get involved in the preparation of accruals and prepayments, helping to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Subsidiary Management Accounts: Take ownership of the management accounts for two subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Month-End Responsibilities: Contribute to various month-end tasks, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Be ready to tackle a variety of other tasks as necessary, helping the finance team achieve its goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Familiarity with purchase ledgers, VAT, and fixed asset management.
