Role Summary

A specialist company focusing within the construction industry are currently recruiting for a Support Technologist). The dual purpose of this role is to support the assessment and development of new and existing products for the business and the investigation of claims from the group.

Role:

  • Responsible for testing within the laboratory and for commissioning tests
  • Investigation and support of new ideas and initiatives
  • Improve existing products
  • Communicate with Services Manager
  • Coordinate external testing, including physical, installation, and analytical testing
  • Support the development of new products in conjunction with the strategic partners
  • Report on the performance of new products
  • Attend NPD project meetings
  • Product benchmarking

Education Requirements

  • Recent experience in a technical role or degree in a science related subject
  • Experience working in a laboratory at university or industry
  • Minimum 3 'A' levels
