Smart Education is currently recruiting for an English Teacher to work full-time in a specialist SEND/SEMH school in Worcester.

About the Role:As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a bespoke curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of students aged 11-16 who struggle to access mainstream education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons tailored to students' academic and emotional needs.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to help students overcome barriers to learning.
- Encouraging personal growth and helping students develop communication, literacy, and confidence.
- Monitoring progress and implementing strategies to ensure students reach their full potential academically and socially.
- Working closely with a team of dedicated staff to support the unique challenges of each student.
Job Requirements for this English Teacher role in Worcester:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH needs
- Strong ability to create and deliver tailored teaching approaches
- Commitment to supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving academic qualifications
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to provide two years of employer references
- Reliability, positivity, and resilience to adapt to the challenges of the role
