We are looking for an enthusiastic SEMH PE Teacher / Sports Coach to join our dynamic team at an SEMH College in Worcester. This is an incredible opportunity to use sport as a tool for engagement, development, and transformation.
The Role:Starting ASAP, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive PE sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will also supervise our on-site weight room, ensuring safe and effective use of equipment while motivating students to engage in fitness and sporting activities. Your role will involve:

Designing and delivering tailored PE lessons that promote physical and emotional well-being.

Encouraging participation in a range of sports, fitness programs, and team activities.

Supervising and maintaining a safe, structured, and inspiring weight room environment.

Building positive relationships with students, helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and resilience.

Working collaboratively with staff to support students’ SEMH needs and personal development.
We need a motivational leader who can bring out the best in our students. The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in PE teaching, coaching, or sports instruction, preferably within an SEMH or alternative education setting.

A strong understanding of SEMH needs and the ability to create an inclusive, engaging environment.

Knowledge of strength training and fitness principles to supervise the weight room effectively.

A positive, patient, and resilient approach, with the ability to build trust and inspire students.

Relevant qualifications in PE, Sports Coaching, or Fitness Instruction (e.g., QTS, Level 2/3 Coaching Certificate, PT qualification).
