Halcyon Health and Social care are working exclusively with a well know Adults learning disabilities provider that are looking for a strong, ambitious Deputy manager to join their growing team. The organisation specialise in providing a truly person-centred approach to all areas of their care services, throughout their multiple supported-living homes in the stunning settings of Worcester and Kidderminster.

This role has become available due to an internal promotion and the new registered manager is looking to bring on a like-minded, driven individual that has a true passion for care and professional management.

You will be reporting directly into the Registered manager and will be required to oversee the running of the service as and when needed. Your responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to, * Organising the weekly rota * Supporting the Registered manager in all areas * Training and advising your staff team in best practises * Ensuring staff and home are CQC compliant at all times * To provide and demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and care possible * To be diligent and confident whilst performing a variety of roles within the serviceAs the Deputy manager of this small to medium sized service, you will be expected to have the following requirements, * NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care * NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management (Or at least be working towards this) * Full UK driving license and own means of transport * At least 2 years experience at a Senior level or above, working in an adults learning disabilities settingIn return for your full commitment to this role, you will receive a competitive salary of between £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
