About the Fostering - Kinship Team:The Kinship Team is dedicated to ensuring that children in need can remain with family or trusted caregivers. As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
Lead and oversee complex assessments of kinship carers, ensuring compliance with fostering regulations.Provide expert guidance, support, and supervision to less experienced team members.Work collaboratively with families, kinship carers, and multi-agency professionals to create robust care plans.Advocate for children's best interests while promoting stability and permanency within their family networks.Play a vital role in developing and improving the Kinship Team's processes and outcomes.
What You Bring:To thrive in this role, you must have:A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.Current registration with Social Care England.Strong expertise in fostering, kinship care, and safeguarding practices.Excellent leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
