About the Duty & Assessment Team:The Duty & Assessment Team is the first point of contact for children and families requiring social care support. As a Senior Social Worker, you will:Undertake initial assessments and Section 47 investigations to assess risk.Work in partnership with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes.Provide guidance and supervision to Social Workers on complex cases.Make timely, evidence-based decisions to ensure children's safety and wellbeing.Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory safeguarding policies.
What You Need:A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.Registration with Social Care England.Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and risk assessment.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.A passion for making a real difference in children's lives.
