The interview process includes a PHP web programming challenge, followed by two interviews, one via Teams and another in-person with the hiring manager.

THE ROLE:

Position: PHP Web Developer

Join an established team dedicated to maintaining our customer-facing website, web applications, and internal tools. We’re seeking a skilled developer who can translate user requirements into effective software solutions.

Pearson Carter are looking for a developer who can understand our user requirements then design, develop, test and maintain software to suit.

THE CANDIDATE:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Software Developer
Key Technologies: PHP, Apache on Linux, MySQL, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript
Qualifications: Degree in Software Engineering, Web Development, Computer Science, or related field

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

Complete a PHP web programming challenge (available immediately)
First interview via Teams
Second interview at our Worcester office with the hiring manager (CTO) and current web developer (portfolio required)

Salary: £30K - £45K

Location: Hybrid Role in Worcester Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
