The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Specialist to join a thriving Worcestershire business. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects inventory and supplier management, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations and supply chain analytics, risk management, compliance and training, along with a variety of other requirements in line with the nature of this role.

The Company: A well-established manufacturer with an established client base, the business is going from strength to strength and as a result they are now looking for an experienced Supply chain Specialist to join their team.

For this Supply Chain Specialist role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Comfortable working with staff at all levels within a business
  • Ability to analyse supply chain data and identify trends
  • Holds (or working towards) a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) (highly desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Familiar with procurement processes and purchasing best practices
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, including freight management, customs compliance, and import/export regulations
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, inventory control, demand forecasting, and inventory optimisation techniques.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and systems, such ERP systems, Warehouse Management (WMS), Transportation Management (TMS), and other relevant tools
