My client is a well-established engineering company that specialises in producing innovative production machinery for the automotive, food processing and electronics industry sectors. As a Senior Controls Engineer, your role will focus on interpret the customer's technical requirements, PLC & HMI programming and assist with the electronic/electrical systems.
Senior Controls Engineer Responsibilities;
- Interpret customers technical specifications and produce detailed controls design that will meet those requirements.
- Assist with electrical systems design and PLC programme the systems
- Provide technical support to clients and the wider engineering team
- Fault find and repair PLCs
- Assist with the commissioning of multifunctional machinery
Senior Controls Engineer Experience;
- Degree, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical Design
- Must be competent in PLC and HMI programming - Omron, Siemens and Rockwell preferred
- Experienced in working in a Controls Engineer position
- Experience working on automated machinery would be advantageous
- Must be a team payer
This role as a Senior Controls Engineer is based in Worcester and commutable from Kidderminster, Malvern, Droitwich, Redditch, Bromsgrove and Hereford.
