Our client, a leading organisation in the Distribution industry, is seeking a passionate and organised Transport Planner to join their team in. As the Transport Planner, you will play a vital role in planning and executing daily transport activities. Your expertise will support the Office Manager in addressing driver and customer queries while assisting the Senior Transport Planner in all planning aspects. Principal Accountabilities:

  • Take charge of pre-planning and routing of company vehicles in the absence of the Senior Planner.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Office Manager in all transport administration tasks.

Key Activities:

  • Utilise company routing software to efficiently plan delivery routes for our vehicles.
  • Allocate and amend deliveries for customers as necessary.
  • Handle driver enquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Assist in gathering evidence for accident reports when required.

  • A good standard of education, including Maths and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • A flexible approach to work is essential.
