As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and innovative UX Graphic Designer to join our busy marketing team.

Location: Hybrid - office based in Blackpole, Worcestershire 3 days per week

Reporting into the E-Commerce Manager you will know what it takes to visually engage an audience and tell a story in a compelling way. As an experienced UX Graphic Designer, you'll ensure that the user experience for individuals using the website is as efficient and satisfying as possible. You'll be involved in the design of digital products and services for specific target groups and end users and will need to understand their choices and motivations. You'll work collaboratively with other members of the digital team and the wider business to ensure that products and services meet client needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translating verbal or written briefs into compelling concept designs
  • Using technology and creative software suites to craft engaging content for digital including the website, ecommerce site, social media, videography and animations
  • Proposing and sketching out a range of visual concepts both on paper and using software applications
  • Creating user personas, user journeys and site maps
  • Translating concepts into wireframes, prototypes and user flows using specialist tools as well as the Adobe product suite
  • Design graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems such as responsiveness
  • Creating designs for product runs and email campaigns at short notice
  • Generating designs for variety of media for and online assets
  • Delivering lots of new and innovative ideas

Person Profile:

  • Proven experience as a UX Graphic Designer in a similar role
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Indesign & Photoshop
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools such as Wireframe.cc or InVision
  • Experience gained working for a creative design studio, inhouse or for a communications/advertising/branding agency
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating experience in a variety of areas (video, website, social media etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
