About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Controller to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with 3+ years of experience in Sea & Air Freight operations within a freight forwarding environment, who enjoys managing the full logistics process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quoting sea and air container shipments for both import & export
  • Booking shipments on the Fast Freight system
  • Passing supplier & carrier invoices for approval and payment
  • Arranging Certificates of Origin and other relevant shipping documentation
  • Liaising with overseas agents and ensuring smooth communication
  • Managing the end-to-end freight process, ensuring all shipments run efficiently
  • Updating client spreadsheets and tracking systems for shipment visibility
  • Invoicing shipments accurately and on time
  • Tracking & monitoring shipments, keeping clients informed throughout the process
  • Customs clearance is handled by a third-party agent

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Sea & Air Freight operations within a freight forwarding environment
  • Strong understanding of import/export processes and documentation
  • Experience using Fast Freight or similar freight management systems
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments & deadlines efficiently
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on customer service
