Location – South Worcestershire
Contractor Position Outside IR35 - £18.00 per hour
E-ppl are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their projects. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers.
We are looking for a highly talented welder to join our team, your chief responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to execute welds accurately
- In-depth knowledge of welding standards, welding processes, welding techniques and their requirements.
- Perform welding on components using a variety of materials.
- To set-up and operate welding equipment safely, to ensure optimum performance
- Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines
- Ensure working environment is clean, organised and meets safety standards
Qualifications and experience:
- Hold BS EN ISO 9606-1 welder qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a coded welder
- Good dexterity and strong attention to detail
Benefits
- £18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
- Hours of work are Monday – Friday
- Possible weekend overtime with premium rate
- Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
