Then look no further…Site SupervisorSalary -Circa £37,000 per annum (plus benefits)Hours -37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pmLocation Postcode - CA14 4JHAs the Site Supervisor, you will assist with the management of the Lillyhall Landfill Site, including overseeing any facilities operated by 3rd parties on site such as the MRF and Leachate Treatment Plant. You will assist the Site Business Manager (SBM) in the supervision of activities at Bennett Bank Landfill and the Cumbria closed landfill sites.This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.Our promise to you- 25 days’ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- Life Insurance- Discretionary bonus scheme- On the job training/progression- Recognition- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors ServiceWhat will you be doing?- Implement our Health and Safety Policy, SHEQ and IMS Procedures and statutory regulations on all sites- Monitor and supervise operations- Assist the SBM in controlling all capital and provisions expenditure - Carry out regular inspections and take remedial actions, where necessary- Assist with the acceptance of Low Level Radiological Waste- Assist in managing the leachate extraction system in accordance with the site permit- Ensure operational activities and maintenance are carried out within budgeted levels of expenditure- Assist with the repair and maintenance procedures of equipment on-siteWhat are we looking for?- Experience of supervising/managing waste sites, particularly landfill- To be numerate and IT literate, with the ability to use management information effectively- To be CMS trained or CoTC equivalent- Health & Safety qualifications or the ability to work towards themAbout UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation’s leading waste and resource management companies.
