Ribble Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Workington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's education and development.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent childcare qualifications.

  • Experience working with children in any setting.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Valid Enhanced DBS check to work with children (or willingness to apply for one).

  • A full and up-to-date CV, including complete employment and education history.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.

  • Working with small groups or individual students to provide tailored learning support.

  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Supporting children with additional needs as required.

  • Preparing classroom resources and materials.

  • Providing feedback to teachers and parents about student progress.
