Position: Commercial Electrician Sub-Subcontractor
Type: Self-employed, Contract Work
Snowdon Recruitment are looking for experienced Commercial Electrical Sub-contractors to work on a range of high-profile commercial projects across site in Cumbria.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial sites.
- Ensuring all electrical work is completed to the highest safety standards and in compliance with UK regulations
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
- Conducting inspections and troubleshooting electrical faults
- Coordinating with the main contractor to meet project deadlines
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements:
- Full electrical qualifications (Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent)
- JIB Gold Card
- Previous experience in commercial electrical work
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
- Own tools and PPE
- Must be self-employed and capable of managing your own workload
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other trades
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
