Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a passion for developing the next generation of engineers? We're looking for a Mechanical Engineering Trainer/Assessor to support and assess apprentices across Cumbria, combining workshop-based teaching with workplace assessments.

?? Role Overview:

  • Deliver hands-on workshop training in areas such as lathes, pumps, hand skills, and CAD
  • Assess apprentices in their workplaces (factories & engineering companies)
  • Guide and support learners through their qualifications, ensuring they meet industry standards

�? What you'll need:? HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering? Assessors Award & Teaching Qualification? Industry experience in machining, engineering maintenance, or similar fields? A passion for mentoring and developing future engineers
