EC&I Maintenance Technician – Chemical Manufacturer – Cumbria – Staff - £££

Are you looking for an EC&I Maintenance opportunity with the chance to gain progress, training and work on projects for a COMAH manufacturing facility?

I am looking for an EC&I technician to carry out maintenance on 3 phase motors, fault-find on PLC’s and maintain instrumentation. Preferably you will have worked on a highly regulated facility with an understanding of Atex environments but if you don’t, don’t worry! You will be put on a CompEX course. Why? Because this role will also require you to carry out Atex inspections for hazardous areas.

This facility is profitable with future upgrade projects in the pipeline. The interesting part for an E&I technician is you will have the possibility of carrying out installation, testing and commissioning activities, along with training, only adds value to you as an engineer!

All you need is an NVQ levels 2 or be apprentice trained with 2 years industry experience from a manufacturing environment with a “doer” attitude.

What’s in it for you?

  • £45k (DOE)
  • Over time – (easily an extra £4k-£5k on top of your base salary)
  • On call rota(additional earnings on offer)
  • Company Bonus
  • Healthcare scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme

If you are money motivated, you have the opportunity to earn over  £55k after bonuses and overtime.
