Financial Controller

Based near Worksop, Nottinghamshire

A Financial Controller is required for a busy engineering company based in Nottinghamshire.

You will take responsibility for the production of timely and accurate financial information for the Finance Director. This will include assisting in the compilation of budgets, forecasts and financial business planning. You will oversee the day to day operation of the Finance Department with responsibility for a small team.

As an integral member of the management team you will provide input into all aspects of decision making regarding the financial running of the company. Also, a key aspect of this role will be to implement the Finance Directors financial strategy and get involved with implementation of new processes, procedures within the organisation.

You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with a proven background as a Financial Controller, or similar, and will have held a position of responsibility within a finance department. Experience gained within a small to medium sized organisation would be preferred. You will have experience of managing a small team.

Experience of Microsoft Dynamics along with previous experience of implementing new processes would be highly beneficial. You will be computer literate with advanced Excel skills and good working knowledge of Word.
