Are you a skilled problem solver with a mechanical mindset? We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Machine Operator to join our busy precast factory in Worksop.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for operating a range of machinery in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality production standards are maintained. You'll play a vital role in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving any operational issues to keep the production line running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various machinery used in precast manufacturing
- Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues promptly
- Ensure production processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Work closely with the team to meet daily targets
- Carry out regular checks and preventive maintenance on machinery
What We're Looking For:
- Strong mechanical and technical understanding
- Previous experience in a machine operating role (preferably in a manufacturing or factory setting)
- Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- A proactive attitude and team player
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
