We are currently seeking a Machine Operative to join our team in our precast factory. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in manufacturing, with in-house training provided. No prior experience is required, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating the Bar Threading Machine (training provided).
  • Handling and lifting bars (up to 32mm), requiring good manual handling skills.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the machine and reporting any issues.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Working as part of a team to meet production targets.

Requirements:

  • Strong manual handling abilities (lifting of bars up to 32mm).
  • Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo training to operate the machine.
  • Flexibility to work shifts when required (to cover holidays).
  • Good communication and attention to detail.
