We are recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Operative to join a well-established precast concrete manufacturer in Worksop (S80). This role offers 13.20 per hour, a great working environment, and excellent on-site facilities, including a canteen and a friendly team atmosphere.
The Role:
As a Facilities Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in keeping the site clean, safe, and well-maintained. Your duties will include:
- General site maintenance - ensuring all areas are kept clean, organised, and free from hazards
- Housekeeping - maintaining cleanliness in communal areas such as break rooms, restrooms, and walkways
- Grounds maintenance - keeping outdoor areas tidy, including pathways, parking areas, and green spaces
- Basic repairs and upkeep - carrying out minor fixes and reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant department
- Waste management - ensuring correct disposal of waste and recycling in line with company procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar facilities, cleaning, or maintenance role is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A reliable commute to Worksop (S80) (no public transport)
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a willingness to take on varied tasks
- Awareness of health & safety regulations in a workplace setting
