Job Title: Semi-Skilled Workshop Fitter
Department: Manufacturing
Reports to: Workshop Manager
Location: Worksop
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm
Salary : 14.82 p/hr
Job Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring products are built to required standards, within timeframes, and in line with BS EN ISO 9001 quality management systems. Key areas include Health & Safety, Quality, Teamwork, and Flexibility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prioritise Health & Safety, using appropriate PPE and promoting good housekeeping.
- Take ownership of work quality; perform self-inspections.
- Follow all drawings, procedures, and instructions.
- Complete tasks within specified operation times and maintain daily activity logs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
- Support colleagues as needed and remain flexible to meet business needs.
- Ensure punctuality, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
Quality & Environmental Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with relevant quality and environmental procedures, records, and documentation.
