Electrical Engineer

An Electrical Engineer is sought for a key role within a heavy Industrial sector company based in Worksop. This role requires a proven ability to manage and lead the technical aspects of complex industrial projects.

Description

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and products
• Ensure project compliance with national and international regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success
• Troubleshoot and solve electrical issues in a timely manner
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Conduct regular system assessments to ensure optimal performance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements

Profile

A successful Electrical Engineer should have:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively

Job Offer

• A competitive salary ranging of £44300 per year
• Opportunity to work overtime @ x1.5 ( 1800-2200) and x2 time (2200-0600- bank hols ) pay rates
• 4 hours @ over time rate to be paid for each call out then reduced working day the following shift to ensure 11hours rest.
• Generous annual family related activities including trips out to theme parks & xmas activities
• £50k per year investment on delivering 5% of working time as training (up and multi-skilling between disciplines by external/internal trainers)
• 6% company bonus
• Standard 33 days (264 hours so either 22 (shift) or 33 (day) days per year inc. bank holidays) holiday
• Pension - matched contribution up to 6% (total 12%) (default 4% (total 8%))
• Bonus - 6%
