Sonic Summary

The position is for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis in Sheffield, with a pay rate of £36 per hour and outside IR35 regulations.
The contract is expected to last for approximately 3 months, with a 4on 4off shift pattern covering both days and nights.
The successful candidate will be responsible for minimizing plant and equipment downtime and ensuring building upkeep.
Candidates must be apprentice trained to level 3 or hold equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Experience in Food or FMCG environments is required, allowing the engineer to quickly integrate and contribute to the team.

Working as part of a team, you will ensure all plant and equipment downtime is kept to a minimum and building upkeep is maximised.

Responsibilities

Electrical and mechanical diagnostic/fault finding techniques and the application of remedial work in a breakdown situation. Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, water, steam, freezing and air systems, and all tasks are carried out and/or recorded in accordance with company policies. As a contract multi skilled maintenance engineer you will be apprentice trained to level 3 or hold equivalent qualifications, in either electrical or mechanical engineering. You will be well versed working in Food / FMCG environments and be able to 'hit the ground running' to add value to the team.
