About the RoleElevation Recruitment Group is excited to be working with a leading client who is seeking an experienced Finance Manager  to join their team on a 14-month fixed-term contract.

As the Finance Manager, you will lead a team in providing management accounting and business partnering support across the UK&I businesses, ensuring that financial controls are met and providing valuable commercial insights to key stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you’ll oversee core accounting functions while driving efficiency, process improvements, and fostering a collaborative and performance-driven team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the banking function and manage the end-to-end company credit card process, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.

  • Provide business partnering support, offering commercial assistance to various UK&I businesses, helping them to achieve financial goals.

  • Oversee the production of monthly SG&A accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring resource allocation supports business objectives.

  • Manage the National Statistics process, ensuring accurate reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee Month-End Compliance processes, including balance sheet reconciliation reviews and ensuring that minimum financial controls are maintained.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring effective performance management, recruitment, coaching, and support for team members.

  • Ensure robust documentation of accounting policies and processes to maintain strong internal controls.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, or actively working towards qualification.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills.

  • Proven experience in management accounting, financial control, and business partnering in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to solve complex accounting issues while considering the wider business impact and identifying process improvement opportunities.

  • A solid understanding of financial controls and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience managing and leading a finance team, with a focus on recruitment, coaching, and performance management.

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA would be an advantage.
