Your role:

As a Lecturer in English, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. You will deliver high-quality teaching and ensure that students are fully prepared for higher education or employment. Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing student progress, and promoting work experience opportunities.

Key duties:

Teach and assess on a range of courses appropriate to your skills and qualifications
Support student development through individual learning plans and goal setting
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices
Take responsibility for pastoral care and student progression
Promote student enrichment activities and work experience placements

What we’re looking for:

Relevant teaching experience and qualifications (or willingness to work towards one)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Must hold a current enhanced DBS
Experience of working with students of varying abilities
A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity
