Business Lecturer
Location: Worksop
Salary: £18.87 - £19.80 per hour, plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Part time, 12 hours per week, Temporary until July 2025

The Role
They have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Business Lecturer to join their growing team at the College. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on inspiring learners and has expertise in Business Administration and Customer Service. As a key member of their business department, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and industry-relevant lessons to students at Levels 1-3, ensuring they gain practical and transferable skills that will help them succeed in their careers. You will design and develop dynamic learning materials that cater to different learning styles, identifying individual starting points and providing tailored feedback to support student progress and maximise success.
A key part of this role involves conducting individual learner reviews, helping students stay on track and reach their full potential. You will work closely with both employed and unemployed learners, providing motivation and identifying any challenges that may prevent them from achieving their goals. Your ability to create an enriching and supportive learning environment from day one will be essential in ensuring students feel confident and engaged in their studies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Industry experience in business along with a strong background in teaching or training.
- Experience in delivering Level 1-3 business courses is essential, as well as the ability to make learning relevant, engaging, and applicable to real-world scenarios.
- You should hold a minimum Level 3 teaching qualification and possess Level 2 literacy and numeracy or an equivalent qualification.
