Role Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Worksop. You will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Support students with physical, emotional, and social needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A caring and patient nature.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education (preferred but not essential).
